The Dogtra 1900 is a powerful entry level training collar. Low to high power settings are adjustable using a rheostat dial on the transmitter, for a gradual increase or decrease in stimulation. You set the intensity that is just right for your dog. The LCD display allows you to see the level of stimulation being applied.
Another great feature of this collar is that you have the ability to pick a mode of stimulation you want to use. Set to "nick" so that only a quick electrical stimulation is applied. Set to "constant" for a longer controlled stimulus, or set to "pager" mode so that only a non-electrical "vibration" is used to get your pet's attention. The pager function works well for mild-mannered dogs and can often be used instead of electrical stimulation once a dog has been trained.
Both the transmitter and the collar are fully waterproof. A "must" when using your unit in wet or flooded areas!
